News and Information about Pacific School
| The 5th and 6th grade class are working hard to fundraise for the ELP trip (Experiential Learning Program) in May. They'll be going to Yosemite for three days to learn about the park's colorful past and spend a day living like pioneers, learning historic skills and making their own food, pioneer-style. So far the upper grades have had a waffle breakfast and a smoothie sale. Watch here for updates! | ![]() |
Information About Communications to and from the School
Phone Calls to the Office:
You can reach us by telephone at 831-425-7002 Mondays through Fridays. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Noel Bock is the coordinator of communications throughout the school, and is assisted by Rose Jacobs three mornings a week, answering phones and helping visitors. Please try to make arrangements for care and transportation before your child comes to school, to help cut down on telephone traffic during the day.
Weekly Memo and Lunch Calendar:
A newsletter is sent home to parents at the end of each week, either on paper or by email. The weekly memo describes coming events and informs parents of current activities in their child's classroom. Parents should make it a habit to read the weekly memo each Friday to receive important information about coming events, and are encouraged to receive the memo by email rather than paper copy. We also send home a monthly calendar, which includes the lunch menu and special events.
Bulletin Board:
Newsletters, agendas for meetings of the Board of Trustees and School Site Council will be posted on the bulletin board outside the school office, next to the door. We also put notices about events of the day on the Front Gate Bulletin Board -- for example, reminders of pancake breakfast fundraisers, drama rehearsals, invitations to recitals, etc.
